Irvin D. McBride, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Louise Clark McBride, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 11, 2014. His funeral service will be held at the graveside Tuesday, January 14, 2014, in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue, at 11:30 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road.
Irvin was born in Soperton, Georgia, son of the late Bartow McBride and the late Vera Holton McBride. He was a retired truck driver for McLean Trucking Company, a member of Pittman Street Baptist Church and the Teamsters Union Local #509.
He is survived by his wife of North Charleston; two sons: David Wayne McBride and Michael D. McBride, both of North Charleston; and two brothers: Gene McBride of Mt. Vernon, GA and Roy McBride of Hiram, GA.
Flowers will be accepted.
