Iris Ann Williams, 81, of Hollywood, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 19, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 21, 2012 in Wando Woods Baptist Church, 4123 Dorsey Avenue at 12:00 pm. Committal service Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Churchyard, Union County, Mississippi at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Wando Woods Baptist Church, North Charleston. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.Iris was born April 16, 1931 in, Mason City, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Peter Petersen and late Lillian McCollister. She was a member of Wando Woods Baptist Church and attended Christ-St. Paul's Church. She was a member of the Azalea Chapter of Eastern Star.She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Joiner and husband Skip of Aiken, SC, Bonnie Rackley and husband Joe of Hollywood, SC, Marilyn Whatley and husband Chuck of Moncks Corner, SC; her son, Stanley Williams and wife Holly of Goose Creek, SC; 2 brothers, Stanley Petersen and Ivan Petersen both of Washington State; 3 sisters, Phyllis Bristow of Oregon, Carol Nixon of Montana, Linda Reece of Oregon; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by infant son, Marlin and an infant daughter, Brenda Joy and her brothers, Floyd, Richard and Carl.
