Iris Rast Landrum

Iris Rast Landrum, 90, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Leander "Lee" William Landrum died Wednesday, January 7, 2015. The relatives and friends of Iris Landrum are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road at 12:00 pm. Iris was born September 26, 1924 in Holly Hill, South Carolina, daughter of the late Alva C. Rast and Norine Dollason Rast. She worked at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and retired from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office where she worked in the Delinquent Tax Division. During her child rearing years, she was very active in many civic organizations on the Isle of Palms.

She is survived by grandsons, Leander "Lee" Landrum, III and his wife Marie, of Seattle, WA and Lance Landrum of Bluffton, SC, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Leander William Landrum, Jr. and a daughter, Rhonda Carolyn Landrum.
