Iris Earlene Martin Doose

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 24, 2011, Iris Earlene Martin Doose, wife of John Christian Doose.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Doose are invited to attend the graveside funeral service of the latter in Live Oak Memorial Gardens Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at 10 am.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy., Monday between 5 and 7 pm.

Mrs. Doose was born June 21, 1931 in Farwell, Texas, a daughter of the late Virgil Martin and the late Golda Culpepper Martin.  She was a homemaker and a former volunteer for Roper Hospital for many years.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Jacqueline "Jaqe" Diane Williams (Phil) and Jerilyn Denise Isaacson (Mark), both of Charleston; a son, John David Doose (Sanae) of Charleston; three brothers, Raymond Martin of Blue Ridge, TX, James "Jake" Martin of Wilmington, NC and Bill Martin of Sacramento, CA; a sister, Nelda Carolyn McPherson of Fort Worth, TX; eight grandchildren, Ryan Wham (Michelle), Justin Wham, Katie Isaacson, Aubrey Isaacson, Will Isaacson, Jayce Doose (Agn�s), Victoria Doose and Serena Doose; and one great-grandchild, Maxwell Wham.
