Iris Jean Allen, 83, of Hanahan, SC, wife of William C. Allen, Sr., entered into eternal rest Monday, January 4, 2021. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Iris was born September 7, 1937 in Lilbourn, Missouri, daughter of the late Charles Louis Fodge and the late Fannie Lou Peck Fodge.
She is survived by her husband, William Allen, Sr. of Hanahan, SC; two daughters, Debra Byrum (Wayne) of North Charleston, SC and Lisa Shortreed (Douglas) of Hanahan, SC; three sons: William C Allen, Jr. (Elaine) of Bonneau, SC, Kevin G. Allen (Lisa) of St. Augustine, FL and James R. Allen (Christy) of Gilbert, SC; 22 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Louis A. Allen.
