Ira Whitfield Woodhead

Entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 16, 2011, Ira Whitfield Woodhead, widower of Suzanne B. "Zanna" Woodhead.  Residence, Edisto Island, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Monday, September 26, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Edisto Island, at 3 pm. Burial will be private.  Reception to follow at the home of Henry and Virginia Woodhead on Edisto Beach. 

Mr. Woodhead was born on April 15, 1954 in Aiken, SC a son of the late Henry A. Woodhead, Jr. and Grace Coward Woodhead.  He was of the Episcopal faith and was a carpenter in residential construction.

Mr. Woodhead is survived by two daughters, Grace B. Woodhead of Charleston, SC and Mallory S. Woodhead of Columbia, SC; one son, Ira T. Woodhead of Charleston, SC; one sister, Mary Allan Woodhead of Aiken, SC; one brother, Henry Ainley Woodhead, III of Edisto Island, SC.  He was predeceased by a sister, Grace Lillian Woodhead.
