Ingrid Kröger Hunt, 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Robert Norman Hunt, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 16, 2016. Her funeral service will be held at the graveside, Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ingrid was born February 11, 1939 in Bad Homburg, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Karl Heinz Kröger and Annemarie Lang Kröger. She was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and the Betsy Ross Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Norman Hunt of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Michele H. Bridgers of Lexington, SC, Ruth Ann H. Dean of Johns Island, SC; son, Gregory Norman Hunt (Jenny) of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Rosie Davis of Fairfield, CA, Ursula Gnieser (Axel) of Wiesbaden Germany; four grandchildren, Casey Burnsed, Katy Lee Guertin (Matt), Austin Dean, Garret Dean, and three great grandchildren, John, Violet, and Mason.
