Inez Groves Dawsey, 95, of Johns Island, SC, widow of Richard A. Dawsey, Jr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 14, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 232 Calhoun Street, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel.

Inez was born November 5, 1919 in Conover, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Allen G. Groves and the late Caroline Driggers Groves. She was a seamstress. She is survived by a sister, Delores Colson of Johns Island, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Groves, Jr.; and sisters, Neatha Benton, Nervie Benton, Irene Dupree, Audrey Haskel, Eula Mae Groves, and Beverly Groves.
