Ina Juanita Parker

Ina Juanita Parker, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Jack M. Parker, Sr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 7, 2025. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 am, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Ina was born May 21, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of the late Charles Kent Eastman and Ina Ruth Rewis Eastman. She worked at the Lady Bug florist in the Piggly Wiggly for many years. Ina was a long time member of Ashley River Baptist Church. She loved to travel, read, and all things Disney. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, she would stay up all night gathering player statistics. She was well known for her excellent baking skills. She was a dedicated PTA volunteer, band mom, and cub scouts leader. Ina will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

She is survived by her three sons, Jack Parker, Jr. (Pam), Michael Parker (Cindy), John W. Parker ; granddaughters, Bronwyn Ibsen (Mike), Megan Myers (Chris), Kaitlin Altman (Strom, Jr.); great-grandchildren, Leah, Nolan, Braelynn, Hazel Grace, and Sutton.

In addition to her husband, Jack, of 60 years, Ina was preceded in death by her brother, Kent Eastman; and great-granddaughter Henlee Ibsen.

Memorial donations can be made in Ina's memory to Ashley River Baptist Church.
