Imogene Prine Chandler

Imogene Prine Chandler, 81, wife of Ernest A. Chandler, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at her home in Mt. Pleasant, SC, surrounded by her husband of 62 years, her children and her grandchildren. The relatives and friends of Imogene Chandler are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Thursday, July 15, 2010 in J.HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 58 Saturday Road, I'on, Mt. Pleasant.  Mrs. Chandler was born October 12, 1928 in North Charleston, South Carolina.  She was the oldest daughter of the late Leita Droze Prine and Johnny Prine.  She graduated from North Charleston High School, attended Rice Business College and was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Charleston. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernest A. Chandler; daughters, Bonnie Chandler Miller and Melinda Chandler Kirton, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Steve Chandler and his wife, Nancy, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a sister, Betty Bessinger and her husband, Melvin, of James Island, SC; five wonderful grandchildren, Rob Miller, Christie Miller Mead, Meranda Kirton, Megan Chandler and Jenna Chandler. The family requests that memorials be made to Winyah Community Hospice Care, 1027 Physician's Drive, Suite 240, Charleston, SC  29414.
