Ida Davis Miller, 90, wife of Howard L. Miller of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
Mrs. Miller was born on February 21, 1922 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late William and Ida deSaussure Davis. She was a graduate of Memminger High School and Palmer Business College. Mrs. Miller was a resident of Aiken, SC for over 50 years and moved to Mt. Pleasant in 2002, where she was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Miller of Mount Pleasant, SC; step-daughter, Billie Gibson and her husband, Tom, of Houston, TX; step-daughter, Janice Lovell and grandson, Keith Lovell of Marietta, GA; niece, Sally Davis of Alabama; niece, Caroline Reese and her husband, Norm, of California; nephew, John Gould of Utah; nephew, Rick Davis and his wife, Julie, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and Special Friend of the family, Robyn Wilhoit of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Ida Miller will be remembered as full of grace and simple elegance. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 in Magnolia Cemetery at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR Mount Pleasant CHAPEL.
