Hubert Ray Fields

Entered into eternal rest the afternoon of Tuesday, June 1, 2010, Hubert Ray Fields, Sr. of Hanahan. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Ray Fields are invited to attend his graveside funeral service in Riverside Memorial Park, Saturday, June 5, 2010, at twelve o'clock noon. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road, Saturday from ten-thirty until eleven-thirty. Born October 31, 1930, in Sumter, SC, Ray was the son of the late Charlie V. Fields and Grace Mixon Fields. He was a long distance trucker driver. Ray will be missed by his family and many friends. Survivors include his wife, Lucile B. Fields of Hanahan; nine children, twenty grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
