Holli Hoffman Hughes, 58, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late William "Billy" E. Hughes Jr. entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 2, 2021. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Holli was born January 11, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of Ron Spencer and Julia "Judy" Riley Hoffman, raised by Judy and the late Louden "Captain Lou" C. Hoffman. She was a long-time resident of Mount Pleasant and a former dental hygienist. Her pride and joy was in being a mother - always putting her children's needs first and providing an environment for them to be successful. She loved gardening and cared for an abundance of flowers, vegetables, and fruits. She was also an excellent baker and enjoyed keeping a tidy home. Holli was a strong, selfless person, and a truly dependable friend. Her heart knew no boundaries when it came to tending to the needs of others and her laugh could light up an entire room. She was a member of St Andrew's Church-Mt. Pleasant and always felt a strong connection with the Lord even when she was physically unable to attend services. There is no doubt of the permanent, beautiful impact that her presence has had on those around her. Her love will transcend ages.
She is survived by her daughter, Riley Grace Hughes of Mt. Pleasant, SC; son, William "Will" E. Hughes III of Mt. Pleasant, SC; mother, Judy Hoffman; father, Ron Spencer; sisters, Hayley Murphy of Hubbard, TX and Heidi Kerst of Ann Arbor, MI.
