Hilda Huff

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 25, 2010, Hilda Mayfield Gillespie Huff, wife of George E. Huff of Moncks Corner, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. George E. Huff are invited to attend her funeral service in Berkeley Baptist Church, Saturday, March 27, 2010, at two o'clock.  Interment, Carolina Memorial Park.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road on Friday, between five and seven o'clock.

Mrs. Huff was born on February 13, 1925 in Anderson, SC the daughter of William Julius Mayfield and Pearl Griffin Mayfield.  She was a retired Secretary from the Charleston Air Force Base Fuels Management Branch.  Mrs. Huff was a member of Berkeley Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was president of her class.

She is survived by her husband, George E. Huff of Moncks Corner, SC; two daughters, Carole Gillespie Marconi of North Charleston, SC and Fran H. Price of Moncks Corner, SC; her son, John W. Gillespie of Moncks Corner, SC; five grandchildren:  Deborah Link, Billy Kroeger, Scott Price, Kevin Price and Sandy Lewandowski; and five great-grandchildren:  Ashley, David, Madeline, Lily and Brandon.  She was predeceased by three brothers:  Billy Mayfield, Grady Mayfield and Arthur Mayfield; and her sister, Annie Ruth Garrison.
