Hilda Ivy Alexander

Hilda Ivy Innes ("Bobs") Alexander, 97, widow of the late John Watkins Alexander of Isle of Palms, SC passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating her life on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Church of the Holy Cross, 2520 Middle Street, Sullivans Island, SC at 2:00 PM. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Alexander was born on February 16, 1914 in Staines, England, daughter of the late William Walker Innes and Lillian May Perry Innes. She is survived by her children, Hilda Innes Alexander of Mount Pleasant, SC, Patricia Anne Alexander Howerton of Hilton Head Island, SC, John Wilson Alexander and wife Kim of Charleston, SC, James Perry Alexander of Isle of Palms, SC, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her sister, Patricia Innes Emden of Teignmouth, England followed her to Heaven on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Torquay, England following an extended illness. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the charity of one's choice.
