Hermine Jantzen Mood, 78, of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, widow of Clayton Craige Mood entered into eternal rest Monday, September 6, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 in St. Johannes Evangelical Lutheran Church, 48 Hasell Street at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Downtown Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Hermine was born December 16, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Bernhard Karl Jantzen and May Elizabeth Sease Jantzen. She was a retired Orthodontic Assistant.

Hermine is survived by her daughters: Christine Marie Mood and Holly Anne Mood Workman (Willie) ; son, Clayton Craige Mood, Jr. (CeCe); all of Charleston, SC; sister, Frances J. Beck (Gene) of Mount Pleasant, SC; and two granddaughters: Celia and Elizabeth Mood.

Memorials may be made to St. Johannes Lutheran Church, 48 Hasell Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
