SCPO Herbert Paul Hesner, USN (Ret.)74, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Eva Dean Bethany Hesner died Friday, October 7, 2016. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
Herbert was born October 11, 1941 in Newport, Washington, son of the late Cecil Hesner and the late Shirlie Atwood Hesner. He was an Underwater Fire Control System Technician who proudly served in the United States Navy for 30 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Eva "Jerri" D. Hesner; daughter, Shari; two step-daughters, Debra and Vicki; two step-sons, Jimmy (Erma) and Ron (Lynne); 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by two step-daughters, Sharon and Cathy, and step-son, Kenny.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Assoc. of SC Memorial Processing Center, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
