Herbert "David" Mizzell, 59, of Huger, South Carolina, husband of Mary Loretta Mitchum Mizzell entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 6, 2023.  Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Apple Old Field Cemetery, Huger, SC. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

David was born August 27, 1963 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Ernest Mizzell and Susan Janette Powell Mizzell. He was a supervisor with S.L. Shaw Construction.  

In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by three sons, Christopher David Mizzell of OR, Joshua Lee Mizzell of Summerville, SC and Terry Roberts Jr. (Kasandra Benfield) of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Tina "Maria "Ann Garcia (Juan Buenrostro) of Huger, SC; five grandchildren, Harmony, Bella, Gabriella, Noah and Carson; three sisters, Sue Klatt (Darryl), Sandra Smith (Floyd), and Betty Jo Connor (Bobby). He was preceded in death by sister, Ruthie Hunter and grandchild, Caden.
