Herbert Cecil Fore

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of April 18, 2012, Senior Chief Petty Officer Herbert Cecil Fore, USN (Ret), of Meggett, SC, husband of Betty Fore. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Cecil Fore are invited to attend his graveside service Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Christ St. Pauls Episcopal Churchyard at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Born December 6, 1928 in Waynesville, NC, Herbert was the son of the late Ralph and Willa Mae Fore. Chief Fore retired from the United States Navy spanning a career of 22 years in the Medical and Dental Corps which included service in Korea and Vietnam. He was a past Master for the Jacksonboro Masonic Lodge #206, and a member of the Sojourners #28, and was the owner of BZ Stables in Meggett, SC.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Lou Fore of Meggett; a son, Michael Fore (Patricia) of Middleburg. FL; two daughters, Lorraine Hawkins (Tommy) of Jenkinsville, SC, and Dyan Rauton (Kevin) of Meggett, SC; one brother, Reverend Joe David Fore (Patricia) of Asheville, NC; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Fore was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph E. Fore, Jr.
