Henry M. Williams

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of April 16, 2011, Henry "PeeWee" M. Williams, Sr., husband of Barbara Thompkins Williams.  Residence, Ridgeville, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Williams, Sr. are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy., Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel Monday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Williams was born February 5, 1938 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Charles P. Williams, Sr. and Ruby Ethel Player Williams. He was a retired manager of Jennings Towing Company and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of Ridgeville; children, Lynn Williams (Tim), of Hollywood, Henry "Hank" Williams, Jr. of Ridgeville and Keith Alan Williams, Sr. of Ridgeville; siblings, Ethel Margiotta of Charleston, Charles Williams of St. George, Thomas Williams of Moncks Corner, Melvin Williams of Goldsboro, NC, Juanita Williams of Branchburg, NJ, Betty Bright of Moncks Corner, Charlene Stegall of Simpsonville, SC and Rubyanne Tumbleston of Charleston; grandchildren, Angela Jerome, Amanda Williams, Melissa Esparza, Keith Williams, Jr. and Trey Williams; great-grandchildren, Kaelah Esparza and Atticus Williams; and his beloved pets, Rosie, Smokey and Gina.  He was predeceased by a brother, PFC Johnny Williams, USMC.
