Henry John Wasielewski

Henry John Wasielewski, 92, husband of the late Helen Wasielewski of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010.   The relatives and friends of Henry Wasielewski are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 12, 2010 in Stella Maris Catholic Church at  1:00 p.m. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Wasielewski was born June 12, 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts.  He was the son of the late John Henry Wasielewski and Julia Kijanska Wasielewski.  He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a member of Stella Maris Catholic Church.  He was also a member of the Omar Shrine, Past Commander - VFW Post #10624 in Mt. Pleasant, Military Order of the Cooties, Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post #136, and a life member of the Knights of Columbus in New York.  

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Wasielewski and her husband, Robert Peterson, of Isle of Palms, SC. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
