Henry Dale Smith

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 15, 2011, Henry Dale Smith, husband of the late Carolyn Query Smith.  Residence, Johns Island, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 2 pm.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 1 pm until the time of service. 

Dale was born on November 23, 1954 in Magnolia, Mississippi, son of Virginia Simmons Smith and the late Dale Milton Smith.  He was the owner of Southern Quality Landscaping and attended Pinecrest Baptist Church.

Surviving are his mother Virginia Smith of Charleston; a son, Henry Dale Smith, Jr. of Panama, Central America; two sisters, Stephanie Hauschild of Awendaw, SC and Linda Kennard of Savannah, GA; a brother, James Cook of Johns Island; and a grandson, Kyle Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Bonnie Doone Plantation Foundation, 5878 Boonie Doone Road, Walterboro, SC  29488.
