His Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 in Johns Island Presbyterian Church, 2550 Bohicket Road at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Johns Island Presbyterian Churchyard. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 15, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Henry was born April 27, 1922 in Marion, SC, son of the late Oliver Grey Minshew and Marie Hanahan Minshew. He was the retired Owner of MandM Oil and Propane Company. Henry was a member and Elder of Rockville Presbyterian Church, founding Board Member and Board Chairman of Sea Island Academy, Board Member of Berkeley Electric Co-op, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Johns Water Company.

"Uncle Henry" is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nell B. Minshew of Johns Island, SC; son, Grey H. Minshew (Anne) of Johns Island, SC; two grandsons, Becker Minshew of John Island, SC, and Evan Minshew (Aubrey) of Sanford, NC; sister, Grey M. Geissler of Charleston, SC; brother, Ralph B. Hanahan of Johns Island, SC; several nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
