Henry Allen Marchant

Henry Allen Marchant, 77, of Beaufort, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 4, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in White Church Cemetery, Ravenel, SC. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel 10:00 a.m until the time of service.

Henry was born August 27, 1938 in Harleyville, SC, son of the late Ottie Marchant and Donna Grooms Bray. He was the owner and operator of Al's Barbershop. Henry was an avid animal lover and rescuer and he had many pets.

He is survived by his life partner, Betty J. Fender of Adams Run, SC; daughter, Angela M. Marchant of Beaufort, SC; two brother, Douglas Marchant , and Anthony Bray both of North Charleston, SC; five sisters, Margaret Perry of Hanahan, SC, Mae Purvis of Folly Beach, SC, Eunice Carter of Little Rock, AK, Patricia Williams of Greenwood, SC and Rose Short of Orlando, FL.
