Henry Alan Hodge

Henry Alan Hodge, 54, husband of Hedy Ann Smith Hodge, of Huger, SC, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010. The relatives and friends of Alan Hodge are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Mr. Hodge was born December 21, 1955, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was the son of Wilson Leland Hodge and Pearl Kenrick Hodge. He was a self employed carpenter and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Hedy S. Hodge of Huger, SC; one daughter, Meggan P. Kellen and her husband, Robert, of Hanahan, SC; his father, Wilson L. Hodge and his wife, Ann, of North Charleston, SC; three brothers, John Murray and his wife, Shirley, of Summerville, SC, Myron Hodge of Anderson Creek, NC and Billy Hodge of North Charleston, SC; one sister, Debra Slayton and her husband, John, of Calumet, MI and several nieces and nephews.
