Henry Robert Collins

Henry Robert Collins, 82, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband of Franklyon "Frankie" West Collins, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 21, 2014. His funeral Service will be held in Hibben United Methodist Church, 690 Coleman Boulevard, Monday, February 24, 2014, at 2:00 pm. Burial services will follow with military honors in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Sunday, February 23, 2014, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Henry was born January 25, 1932 in Mullins, South Carolina, son of the late Henry B. Collins and the late Minnie Brown Collins. He was a retired revenue officer with the Internal Revenue Service. Henry enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and spending time with his large extended family.

He is survived by his wife, Franklyon "Frankie" W. Collins of Mt Pleasant, SC; two daughters,Wanda C. McDuffie (Steve) and Sondra C. Fahney (Mike) all of Mt. Pleasant, SC: four grandchildren, Jennifer McDuffie, Steven McDuffie (Kristin), Jonathan Fahney (Mandi) and Jessica Fahney; great-grandchild, Tanner Fahney. Henry was preceded in death by three brothers, Hugh G. Collins, Franklin Carroll Collins and Fred O'Neal Collins; sister, Eloise Collins; and step-sister, Mary Ellen St. Andrews.
