Henry Cameron Burn, 86, husband of Elizabeth Wall Burn, of Mount Pleasant, SC, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013.
The relatives and friends of H. Cameron Burn are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Christ Episcopal Churchyard, 2304 Highway 17 North, Mt. Pleasant, SC at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Cam was born May 23, 1926 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Henry Cameron Burn and Harriett Webster Burn. He was owner of Hughes Lumber and Building Supply for 67 years. He attended Georgia Tech and was past President of the Exchange Club of Charleston. He was also a member of the St. Andrews Church of Mt. Pleasant, Carolina Yacht Club and the Hibernian Society.
He is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth Wall Burn of Mount Pleasant, SC; two daughters, Anne L. Burn Dunn (Ted) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Elizabeth Coker Burn of James Island, SC; two sons, John W. Burn (Elizabeth), Edward M. Burn (Diane) both of Mt. Pleasant, SC and four grandchildren, Web, Rebecca, Sarah and Cameron.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Charleston Chapter, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406 or the American Heart Association of SC, 409 King Street, Suite 300, Charleston, SC 29403.
