Henrietta "Skeet" Bullwinkel Oglesby, 89, of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed on into eternal life on Monday, August 26, 2024. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel 232 Calhoun Street, Charleston SC 29401 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Downtown Chapel.

Skeet was born April 7, 1935 in Canadys, South Carolina, daughter of the late Albert Charles Henry Bullwinkel and the late Rachel Marjorie Pye Bullwinkel. She graduated from North Charleston High School and attended Newberry College. Skeet worked at Bullwinkel's Bakery before going to college and retired from Plan Files, Code 202 at Charleston Naval Shipyard. She attended Messiah Lutheran Church. For many years Skeet managed and/or owned Bullwinkel Mobile Home Park in Hanahan. For the past two years she has lived in Claiborne Assisted Living where the staff loved her like family and took excellent care of her. One of her greatest joys in life was being Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Skeet is survived by her husband, Reuben Oglesby; children: Kathy Williams (David), Kelly Lewis (Angie), Jamie Lewis (Anna) and Lynn Blackmon (Mel); seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, George Herman Lewis, and granddaughter, Jennifer Flowers.
