Henrietta Yon Kennerly, 100, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Lee O. Kennerly, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 10, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel immediately following the service. Interment will be private. 

Henrietta was born April 10, 1922 in Woodford, South Carolina, daughter of the late James Wolfe Yon and Annie Redmond Yon.  She was a life-long lover of flowers and enjoyed a career as the owner of a floral shop.  She was also an artist, as well as an avid fisherman. She was a member of Hibben United Methodist and loved spending time with her friends and large extended family. 

She is survived by her son, Rodger Kennerly (Debbie) of Isle of Palms, SC; her daughters, Angela Ethredge (Rick) and  Bonnie Hartnett (Tommy), both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; six grandchildren, Brian Ethredge (Melina), Chad Ethredge (Joy), Tom Hartnett (Alison), Lee Hartnett, Leslie Meserve (Rob), and Sarah Lustig (Brad); and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
