Helen Voss Tumbleston, 94, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Heyward F. Tumbleston died Monday, February 15, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Helen was born July 10, 1921 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Otto L. Voss, Sr. and Fannie Lou Jackson. She was a U.S. Army Veteran.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Mitchum; grandchildren, George Mitchum, Jr. of Bonneau, SC and Louise Bayles of Huger; sister, Doris Crosby of Crowfield; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
