Helen Sue Tallent

Helen Sue Tallent, 80, of Johns Island, South Carolina, widow of Max Carroll Tallent entered into eternal rest Tuesday, February 19, 2019. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 21, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Hebron United Methodist Church, 7929 NC-27, Vale, NC at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Baptist Churchyard, Vale, NC.

Helen was born December 15, 1938 in Vale, North Carolina, daughter of the late Ben Wade Stines and Ocie Ellen Davis Stines. She was a retired Manager-Professional Lines with Wells Fargo Insurance.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Bazzle (David) of Wadmalaw Island, SC, Traci Smith (Jimmy) of Johns Island, SC; two sons, Thad Tallent (Ashley), Scott Tallent (Sherrie) all of Johns Island, SC; sister, Glenda Williams (Cy) of Denver, NC; brother, Benny Stines (Carolyne) of Vale, NC; ten grandchildren, Joshua Tallent, Kayla Hatchell, Dylan Bazzle, Dustin Bazzle, Brittany Baxley, Lauren Tallent, Jacob Bazzle, Logan Tallent, Breanna Baxley, Brooke Smith and four great-grandchildren, Hope Hatchell, Lane Hatchell, Grace Tallent, Levi Tallent. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Cassidy Tallent, brother Milford Davis and step-son Tony Tallent.
