Helen Liles Page, 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Robert Lee Page entered into eternal rest Friday, July 17, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy., at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC.
Helen was born April 22, 1937 in Wilson County, NC, daughter of the late Edward Moses Liles and Edna O'Neal Liles. She was a graduate of East Carolina University, and received her Master's Degree from The College of William and Mary. Helen was a former teacher at Wallace Middle School, Drayton Hall Middle School, and a former tutor at Sylvain Learning Center. She was an active member of Ashley River Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.
She is survived by her son, Dr. Robert Lee Page, II., of Denver, CO; sister, Carolyn Boyette (LA) of Kenly, NC, three brothers, Max Liles (Susan) of Wilson, NC, Tom Liles (Linda) of State Road, NC, and Sammy Liles (Sue) of Sims, NC; seven nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and nephews. Helen is preceded in death by her brother, James Liles.
