Helen Veach "Happy" Crow, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Browning Crow, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 19, 2015. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, in The Chapel at Bishop Gadsden at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.
Happy was born October 2, 1923 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Harry Veach and Virginia McVay Veach. She was a former member of St. Barnabus Episcopal Church, Bay Village, OH and the Church of Our Savior, Johns Island, SC. Happy was the former First May in the First Edition of the Bishop Gadsden Calendar.
She is survived by two daughters: Cathleen Crow Gough (Gary) of Pinehurst, NC and Nancy Richards (Curt) of Chattanooga, TN; son, Robert Browning Crow (Mella Ponish) of Cleveland, OH; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two nieces; and special friends and caregivers, Dianne and Jim Wiggins.
