Helen Parnelle Croucher, 87, of Charleston, SC, widow of Alfred Frederick Croucher entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. Inurnment, Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway . Helen was born January 12, 1926 in Gifford, SC, daughter of Robert R. Parnelle and Medicus Trowell Parnelle. She retired from Operations Administration with the S.C. National Bank and was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She is survived by her son, Rick Croucher of Charleston; brother, Charles Parnelle of Charleston; sister, Marguerite Houser of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Kyndall Nelson and Derek Croucher.
