Helen Patricia Purse Cantrell

Helen Patricia Purse Cantrell, 86, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of Floyd Sanford Cantrell, Jr. passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. A Celebration of Patricia's Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Interment will be at a later date in Milford, DE. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the chapel.

Patricia was born February 4, 1927 in Seaford, Delaware, daughter of the late Archibald Edward and Margaret Purse. She attended Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA and she was known to her family and friends as a wonderful artist. Patricia dedicated her life to her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years; her grandchildren, Adam Monroe and his wife, April of Mount Pleasant, SC, Eli Cantrell of DE, Katlin Wood and her husband, Joseph of Columbia, SC, and Crystal Cantrell of Millsboro, DE; and her great-grandchildren, Dallas Monroe, Carson Wood, and Millie Ann Wood. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Floyd Sanford Cantrell, III and her daughter, Patricia West.
