Helen Ann Smith, 83, of North Charleston, South Carolina, wife of James V. Smith, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service.

Helen was born June 20, 1941 in Ridgeland, South Carolina, daughter of the late Calvin E. Smith and Geraldine Woods Smith. Helen enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing church league softball. She was an avid member of Northwood Baptist Church at Wando Woods, and various camping clubs.

She is survived by husband, James V. Smith Jr.; two sons, James V. (Vicky) Smith, III, Brian K. (Beth) Smith; daughter, Donna K. (Les) Goff; sister, June Oliver; brother, Miles Smith; seven grandchildren, Alex (Brittany) Goff, Kevin (Samantha) Goff, James Smith, IV, Wesley Smith, Cameron Smith, Caroline Smith, Rebecca Smith; and three great-grandchildren, Parker Goff, Waylon Goff, Penelope Goff.

Memorials may be made to Northwood Baptist Church at Wando Woods.
