Heather Webb Zakis

Heather Webb Zakis, 19, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest Friday, November 20, 2015. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Heather was born June 19, 1996 in Mt. Pleasant, SC, a daughter of Lee Daniel Zakis and Billie Rae Zakis. Her love of animals inspired her to pursue education to become a Veterinarian. She was known for her contagious laugh and smile, and her deep love for friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Cole Daniel Zakis and sister, Caitlyn Marie Zakis, both of Hanahan; her maternal grandfather, William Jenkins Parrish of Wilmington, NC; paternal grandparents, Conrad and Susan Zakis of Hanahan, SC; stepmother, Lisa Grainger Zakis, and two stepsisters, Sierra Grainger and Kayla Grainger all of Moncks Corner, SC.
