Hazel Carol Taylor

Hazel Carol Taylor, 83, of Gaston, South Carolina, widow of Charles O'Neal Taylor, Sr. died Thursday, January 3, 2013. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 7, 2013, in the J. Henry Stuhr, West Ashley Chapel, at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC. Hazel was born July 3, 1929 in Lenoir County, NC, daughter of the late Charlie C. Langston and the late Dollie Lee Rhodes. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Charles O'Neal Taylor, Jr. (Pam), Kathie Taylor, Christopher Allen Taylor (Beth), Dolly J. Miller (Steve), Billy Lee Taylor (Kathy), and S. Carol Foulds (Robert); grandchildren, Chuck Taylor, Tiffany Vogel, Katie Randall, Christy Taylor, Christopher A. Taylor Jr., Christopher Feeney, John Feeney, Jerry Miller, Michael Miller, Drake Taylor, Ryan Matthews, and Taylor Foulds; a brother, Ernest Ray Langston; four sisters Rosa Lee Ray, Beatrice Johnson, Frances Pearl Lassiter, and Louella Rouse; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Amedisys Home Health Care, 714 South Drive, Suite 250, Lexington, SC 29072.
