Hazel Myers Staubes, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Herman M. Staubes, Jr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, September 29, 2018. Her Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 in John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Highway at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Thursday in the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Hazel was born May 19, 1930 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Nathaniel Myers and Shellie Postell Myers. She was a longtime employee of Coburg Dairy and retired from Ashley Printing. She was a member of Drayton on the Ashley Garden Club, John Wesley Women's Society. and a Charter member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Herman M. Staubes, Jr. of Charleston, SC; daughter, Debbie Cook of Tarpon Springs, FL; three grandchildren, Hank Ripley of Charleston, SC, Shannon Black of Meggett, SC, Haley Cook of Clearwater, FL; three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Ripley, Waylon Black, and Brooks Black.
