Hazel Darley Loadholt, 89, of Fairfax, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on
Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Fairfax First Baptist Church, Fairfax, SC at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. A private family burial was held in Greenville, SC where she was laid to rest next to her first husband, Albert Ballenger. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Hazel was born April 16, 1924 in Douglas, Georgia, daughter of the late Fleet Darley and the late Mozelle Fields Darley. She graduated from Business School and worked as an Office Manager for Lo-State Tractor.
She is survived by daughter; Lisa Ballenger Minnick and her husband, Doug, of Mount Pleasant, SC and granddaughter; Lindsey Hunt (Kenny) and her family, of Leesburg, VA. She was blessed with a wonderful extended family and many loving friends during her long life.
In honor of Hazel, memorials may be made in her name to Fairfax First Baptist Church, P.O. Drawer 820, Fairfax, SC 29827, designated for Mission work.
