Hazel Cole Hucks

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 8, 2011, Hazel Cole Hucks, widow of Mack R. Hucks of Hanahan, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mrs. Hazel C. Hucks are invited to attend her funeral service in Portside Baptist Church, Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 3:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment, Carolina Memorial Park.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Mrs. Hucks was born on July 1, 1924 in Sevier County, TN the daughter of Walter Allen Cole and Nancy Williamson Cole.  She was an active member of the Portside Baptist Church, senior adult leader at the church and Women's Missionary Union.

She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Robbins and her husband Donald of Moncks Corner, SC; sons, James Hucks and his wife Patricia of North Charleston, SC and Edward Hucks and his wife Becky of Taylors, SC; grandchildren:  Deborah, Tammy, Matt, Josh, Elizabeth; and three great-grandchildren, Jessica, Ella and Racheal.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
