Hazel Lee Green

Hazel Lee McCracken Green, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Walter Marion Green, Sr. entered into eternal rest Friday, August 17, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.

Hazel was born April 6, 1931 in , South Carolina, daughter of the late Boyd Luther McCracken and Nellie Logan McCracken. She was a former co-owner of Green's Construction and a longtime realtor for Century 21 and Squires Homes. Hazel was a charter member of Charleston Baptist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters: Stacia Green Aldret (Rick) of Summerville, SC and Lorie L. Green of Charleston, SC; three brothers: Loyd McKracken, Bruce McKracken and Alpha McKracken all of Charleston, SC; sister, Juanita M. Cantey of N. Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
