Hayden Shealy Rauch

Hayden Shealy Rauch, 70, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Jake Allen Rauch entered into eternal rest Monday, July 15, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Hayden was born September 19, 1942 in Holly Hill, South Carolina, daughter of the late Carlisle H. Shealy and Ida Glenn Shealy. She was the Secretary/Treasurer for their company J.A. Rauch Construction Company, Inc., and was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston. She was also a member of the Studebaker Driver's Club of South Carolina.

She is survived by her husband, Jake Rauch of Johns Island; two sons, Barry A. Rauch of Ravenel, Dennis J. Rauch of Wilmington Island, GA; three daughters, Jackie Rauch (Harry) Reimer of Charleston, Beth Rauch (David) Jeffcoat of Johns Island, Jennifer M. Rauch of Boston, Mass.; two sisters, Helena Shealy Meetze of Columbia, SC, Mary Lynn Shealy Scott of Gilbert, SC, 10 grandchildren, Khristina Rauch, Jacob Melbo, Charlotte Stegall, David Jeffcoat III, Cassidy Melbo, Scarlett Rauch-Delva, Joshuah Rauch, Skyeler Rauch-Delva, Zachary Rauch and Jason Jeffcoat; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Tyrone and Eddie Shealy.
