Hasse Harold Detyens

Hasse Harold Detyens, 50, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Hasse Detyens are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Metropolitan Community Church at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Hasse was born on March 3, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William James Detyens and Marjorie Detyens.   He was a member of the Metropolitan Community Church, serving on the board of directors and contributed by being the assistant treasurer on the board. He is survived by his sisters, Judy Stewart and her husband, Loy, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Alice Lambrakos of James Island, SC and Peggy Lamb of Huger, SC; brothers, Jay Detyens of Eutawville, SC and Billy Detyens of Santee, SC. The family requests that donations in memory of Hasse Detyens be sent to the Metropolitan Community Church, 7860 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC  29418 or Harvest Free Medical Clinic, 1670 Dry Dock Avenue, North Charleston, SC  29405.
