Hasell Legare Coleman, Jr. 74, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Nancy Havens Coleman died Thursday, April 27, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 Highway 17 N at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. Mount Pleasant CHAPEL.

Legare was born August 25, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Hasell Legare Coleman, Sr.and the late Elsa Caroline Wohltmann Coleman. He graduated from General William Moultrie High School in 1960 and Clemson University in 1965. Legare was employed by Phillip Morris USA and was assigned to Richmond, VA, New York City, NY, Izmir, Turkey, and Lusanne, Switzerland before retiring to Mount Pleasant, SC in 2002. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Stanton Coleman of New Hope, PA; son, Bryan Keith Coleman of Manitou Beach, MI; daughter-in-law, Theresa Elizabeth Coleman and two grandsons, Austin Rea and Dylan Kent Coleman, all of Tecumesh, MI; nephews, William "Marty" Martin Rodenberg, Adam Coleman Rodenberg, and Anthony Charles Deluca, all of Mount Pleasant, SC.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Coleman Cullen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, 2107 Highway 17 N, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466.
