Harvey Dean West

Harvey Dean West, 79, of Yonges Island, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 17, 2014. His Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, in Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Northwest IN. Arrangements by J. Harvey Dean was born January 21, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, son of the late Alford West and Eva Baize West. He was a retired steel machinist and member of the United Steel Workers.

He is survived by his two sons, Harvey D. West (Elizabeth), Jr. of Yonges Island, SC; Roger West (Jennifer) of Kokomo, IN; three grandchildren Jason, Marc, Jacob and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex, Dora and Liam; sister, Marion Gillard of Evansville, IN; sister-in-law, Emarie West of Evansville, IN. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Marcella Jones, Corrine Nanny and brother Lee West.
