Harvey Stafford Coker

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Friday, March 25, 2011, Harvey Stafford Coker, husband of Erma Lee Page Coker of Johns Island, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Harvey Stafford Coker are invited to attend his graveside service Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in Beaufort National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.   The family will receive friends Monday in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel from  5:00 pm until 7:00 pm where an evening prayer service will be conducted at 6:30 pm. 

Mr. Coker was born January 25, 1942 in Johnsonville, SC, son of late Bertie O. Coker and Ether Irene Barfield Coker.  He retired from the City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Dept and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Johns Island, SC. 

He is survived by his wife, Erma Lee Page Coker of Johns Island, SC; two daughters, Teresa Pye of Ravenel, SC and Sara Ann Coker of Johns Island, SC; two sons, William Steven Coker of Johns Island, SC and Jesse Judea Coker of Summerville, SC; three sisters, Diane Cox of Summerville, SC, Mary Klein of Kingsland, GA and Maeva Whiteman of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Winston R. Coker of Phoenix, AL and Larry O. Coker of North Charleston, SC and five grandchildren, William J. Coker, Kenneth Micheal Pye, II, Casey Lyn Pye, Jesse Stafford Coker and Kyla Racine Coker.
