Harvey Wilson All, 99, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, widower of Christine Sauls All entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 3, 2018. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday in Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Harvey was born August 31, 1919 in Dorchester, South Carolina, son of the late John Fred All and Jessie Way All. He was a United States Army veteran, having served during WWII. Harvey retired in 1985 as store room manager at Westvaco. He was a supporter of Citadel athletics and was a faithful member of Ashley River Baptist Church.
Harvey was known for his sweet demeanor as well as his sweet tooth. Oftentimes, he could be found encouraging visitors to enjoy a piece of candy from his large candy dish.
He is survived by two daughters: Katherine A. Clark and Judith A. Hammett (Mac), both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister-in-law, Joyce Redford; and many nieces and nephews.
Harvey is predeceased by his siblings: Cora, George, Sally, Frankey, and William.
The family is grateful for the loving care provided to him at Sandpiper Courtyard and Sandpiper Rehab.
