Harry S Gray, Jr., PNCS (Ret.), USN

Harry S. Gray, Jr., PNCS (Ret.), USN, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Laurann Litchfield Gray, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 24, 2023. His memorial service will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel at 7:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm.

Harry was born November 12, 1930 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, son of the late Harry Seymour Gray, Sr and Jenny Ruth Kendrick Gray. He served in the United States Navy for 22 years and retired as a senior chief.

In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his brother, Patrick R. Gray of Greenback, TN; daughters, Regina Mullen (Bill) and Patricia Louise Pyatt, both of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Jennifer Smith (Daniel), Dana Kantala (Kenrick), Ryan Terrell (Casey), and Lauren Pyatt; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Clara, Lauren, Tyler, Ophelia, and Theodore. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Gray, Bill Gray and Zane Gray.
