Harry "Andy" Anderson Bryan

February 24, 1951 — June 17, 2016

Harry Anderson "Andy" Bryan, 65, of Johns Island, South Carolina, husband of Candice Lemmons Bryan, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 17, 2016. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 21 2016, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL,3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Monday evening in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Harry "Andy" was born February 24, 1951 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, son of the late Harry Odom Bryan and Margaret Anderson Bryan. Andy was a 1973 graduate of the Citadel. He worked in management in the textile industry and was a small business owner. Upon retirement, he moved back to Charleston S.C. He was a member of the Citadel Brigadier Club and a member of the Calvary Chapel of the Sea Island. Andy loved his family, dogs, The Citadel, and boats.

He is survived by his wife, Candice Bryan of Johns Island, SC; son, Harry Andrew Bryan (Lindsay) of Greenville, SC; daughter, Katherine Leigh Bryan of Brooklyn, NY; step-daughter, Kathleen Dumitru (Jon) of Neptune Beach, FL; and two grandchildren, Jonah and Julia Dumitru.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Ellison and the staff of Charleston Hematology and Oncology and Associates for their compassion and care for him in his battle with cancer over the last five years.
